My family is deeply blessed.
My father's parents invited us to spend a week with them in Cocoa Beach, FL at The Resort on Cocoa Beach. Before we left, the air conditioning and sliding doors in our car decided to stop working. We took our car into the shop and it turned out that we would have to pay over $2,000 to fix it before our trip. Of course, since we live on a pastor's salary, in no way were we able to afford that! We decided to take our car to our friend who fixes Hondas regularly and thankfully he said he could fix it for a few hundred dollars. We were so relieved and thankful! A few days later we were all packed and ready to drive over twelve hours down to the east coast of Florida. It was a very long drive, but it was so worth it! The weather was beautiful and it was great to have some family time!
Every single time my family has gone on vacation, we've gotten sick (or gotten lice...ew). So as always, we brought plenty of vitamins and medicine just incase. BUT PRAISE THE LORD! We made it through a vacation without anyone getting sick! It might seem silly, but it was a huge blessing for us.
The week was full of laughter, relaxation, fun and sand. I wouldn't trade spending time with these wonderful people for anything.
Anyway, I thought I'd post a few pictures I took of the fam with a Nikon D3200 I borrowed. The beach was just absolutely gorgeous and I had some pretty great models;)
